Hantavirus is an existing virus in
this world which transmitted through contact with body fluids of rats.
Human-human transmission is very rare and therefore it does not possess a threat
to become another pandemic. Naturally, people fear another crisis while they
are in the middle of a true hard-hit-heath-crisis. Covid19 is not a very serious
virus comparing to viruses such as EBOLA. However, the problem with Covid19 is,
it is extremely contagious and put 20-15 % of people in critical care. Due to
the extreme nature of contagiousness, Covid19 has become a health crisis since
it quickly fills up any nations health care facilities once it becomes an
outbreak. In true sense, Covid19 is not a health issue, it is an infrastructure
issue.
Hantavirus become
trending in Social Media
Recently the news about
Hantavirus and sudden death of a Chinese man in a bus due to virus capture to
attention on social media like a while fire. It is hard to know the story is
true or not. However, the news doesn't have to be true or false, Hantavirus
kills people since 1950. But it will never become another pandemic which will
shake the whole world with lock-downs. Is
this mean that Hantavirus not dangerous? No. It is dangerous. It kills 36% of
people who get affected. However, people do not need to panic over this since
this is yet another virus in this world which will be affecting the people with
poor living conditions. Your visit to the supermarket, your metro journey to
the office … etc. will not make you sick with the virus. Keep a clean house and
a living room. That is it!
