Sri Lanka Dialog Telekom initiate the sri lanka first ever mobile waste management program. They retrieved old mobile phones and batteries and send them for recycling. The fund which is rising by this project will go for TOY-JOY project which is to distribute toys among poor children in Sri Lanka.
This is good effort while electronic waste becoming significant pollutants in Sri Lanka. This is another CSR (cooperate social responsibility) project and a green effort of Dialog.
