Nine students of our senior batch (who recently passed out) have chosen new carrier path while others are hunting traditional carriers. They have initiated a chemical and process plant designing company. They have registered their company name and the happiest news is that they have been able to undertake six new designing at the initial state. They are working delicately on their business and soon they will succeed. I hope very bright future for them.
Our department encourage entrepreneurship by providing opportunities to participate entrepreneurship programs. I can remember some of students from above group participated an entrepreneurship workshop. I think that entrepreneurship workshop would give the initiative to start their own business.
Our university is provide basic idea on small business and entrepreneurship by delivering lectures in management stream on "small business and entrepreneurship".
The above mentioned entrepreneurship workshop was conducted one of sri lankan small business incubators.
