Sharing student industrial experiences

Our entire engineering students are sent to industries for 6 month period to get hands on experiences about industrial application in end of 5th semester. They are sent to various types of industries. We, department of Chemical & Process Engineering students are offered training opportunities by numerous industries. Each industry has their own traditions, practices, applications and so on. So different students come across with their unique experiences, which another one might never come across in his industrial training.

This scenario was implied us to share our experiences among our student community. When we meet day today in our leisure times we discuss about our training period. But this is not enough to transfer high level technological knowledge. So some of our batch mates were discussed to held discussion sessions in our free times. This idea has not become reality yet. But we are hoping to schedule it very soon.

I added the idea of “Sharing student industrial experiences” to my industrial training report’s final chapter where the training division allows adding our opinions. I suggested starting a blog or forum to share day today experiences while they are in training places. The training division has not taken it for granted yet.

That is a very good idea. The practical student I'm supervising at my work place is learning and experiencing a lot. He's learning the theory and practical of chemical engineering unit operation and plant processes. Not only that, he learned the working environment as well. He can see how troublesome it can be managing our downline manpower, operators etc.

It's a good idea....briliant....Inform me if the blog is around...I want to learn as well....from different exposures....

They can learn to from my site:
