Corn - based mineral water bottle

We know that there are so many mineral water bottles in market in various name. Most people thro' them everywhere after consuming water. The usual mineral bottles are non degradable so they will remain in soil for decades. This is a great environmental hazardous in present days. But Natureworks has been successful to develop corn based mineral bottle which is totally biodegradable. Prof. Ajith de Alwis showed one of this bottle in his solid waste management lecture. Actually it was brain stroming for us. We touched & test the bottle in our hands. It is same in every way to normal bottle. It did not emit any smell. Actually it is a greate innovation.
